Why vitamin K2
Vitamin K2 activates proteins that direct calcium into bones and away from arteries. SHENI uses the MK-7 form (menaquinone-7), all-trans isomer — the biologically active configuration with a half-life of around 72 hours, compared to hours for MK-4. This allows once-daily dosing at 100 µg, the level supported by European health authorities.
