Why astaxanthin

Astaxanthin is a carotenoid produced by the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis. It is one of the most potent natural antioxidants studied to date, and unlike some antioxidants it does not become pro-oxidant at high doses. SHENI delivers 12 mg per drop in MCT oil, the dose most used in published human trials.
